Time for Tahoe’s Farmers’ Markets

There is something about the juicy taste of a peach from a Farmer’s Market. They just taste so much better than those you buy at the supermarket. The fresh from the farm produce, as well as top quality meats, fish, cheese and bread you can find at Farmers Markets is one of the true highlights of summer. And it’s also a relaxing experience on a warm Sierra day to saunter past all that delicious food and meet and greet your friends who also happen to be seeking out that perfect heirloom tomato.

While we all have our local go to Farmers’ Market favorites that pop up once a week, the good news is if you get too busy or slap your forehead and say, “Oh damn, it’s Thursday, I missed the Farmers Market in Tahoe City” there is likely to be another great market within a day or two close by. Here is a lineup of the Farmers’ Markets in North Tahoe and Truckee:

Sunday:

Truckee Community Farmers Market
