Hangin’ out at the Hyatt
Don’t forget your favorite restaurant hangouts for free music too, usually on the weekends. The Hyatt in Incline Village has a lovely deck and beach area where you can get served a cocktail and nosh with their acoustic musical offerings.
In addition, check out what is fast becoming a local favorite band, ‘Ike and Martin’. I saw them for the first time in the off season, where you normally could walk into a half empty restaurant with no problem. Not when these guys play! The house was PACKED! They’re that good. And they take requests via your phone. But be forworned, you’ll have a lot of competition to get them to play your favorite tune.
They will be playing this summer and fall at Jake’s On The Lake in Tahoe City, Riva Grill at South Lake Tahoe, Alibi Ale Works and PJ’s at Gray’s Crossing in Truckee. See their website for dates and times. ikeandmartin.com/shows
